Testing MEMS microphones and building a quick test fixture.

When building a product that includes MEMS microphones, it's critically important to test the microphones to ensure they work, and that they are sealed.  In this video, I show you some tricks for doing a quick sanity test on the microphones.  Perhaps I'll cover real, formal testing in a future video.   I show you how to build a quick-and-dirty fixture and how to test for functionality and sealing.

If you're building a product with microphones, you must have your PCB assembly vendor test them 100%.  I wouldn't recommend exactly this setup for sending to them, but an automated version.
